SYDNEY, - Qantas flight forced to cancel one flight because of the five rats was found in the cabin at Sydney Airport, Australia, Sky News reported on Wednesday (01/06/2011).

Cabin crew found five rat pups in a box of medical equipment about 15 minutes before its scheduled passenger ride. Qantas was forced to transfer passengers to another plane.

Besides destroying the rats, the officers also searched the entire plane because it was feared there are still other rats hiding in the cabin. Meanwhile, the team found no engine any damage which may be caused rats.

Parties Qantas pleaded not know how the mice were able to crouch on the plane ready to leave it to Brisbane. "We do not yet know how the mice were able to get on a plane, but this is a rare occurrence," said airline spokesman.

Although not a common occurrence, this is not the first incident. Last April, a team of health inspectors found "numerous" rat droppings near the place where food and drinks in an airplane owned by Delta Airlines.

Earlier, in February 2010, hundreds of passengers were forced off the plane that would fly Air Canada from Ottawa, Canada, to London, England, after a rat was found in the cabin.

Not only mice that had occupied the plane, last March a bunch of cockroaches found in the stool first class American Airlines plane.
